TERMS & CONDITIONS

If you have any queries regarding these Terms and Conditions, then contact the Volunteer Management Team at volunteers@pod.ie before submitting your application and paying your Volunteer Bond.

By completing and submitting an application you are agreeing to abide by the...

  • These Terms and Conditions

  • Code of Conduct

GENERAL

By completing and submitting an application you agree that if you are found to be in contravention of these Terms and Conditions you may be removed from the site, and you will be blacklisted thus unable to apply for further positions with All Together Now.

By completing and submitting an application you agree that for the safety of the general public, prior to arrival onsite, your personal details may be passed to An Garda Síochana for a personal check to be carried out.

By completing and submitting an application you agree that any photographs, video, or sound recordings taken of you, or by you, may be used by All Together Now.

The roles you are applying for are Volunteer roles and no payment will be made for your time.

Volunteers must be over 21 years of age – photo ID will be required as proof.

Volunteers will have access to the Staff Campsite, but can also camp in General Camping. You must provide your own camping equipment, suitable clothing for variable (typically Irish) weather – including rain gear / sunscreen etc, and comfortable footwear suitable for rough ground etc.

Volunteers are expected to make their own way to and from the festival site. Train and bus information is available on the All Together Now website and Volunteers will have access to the crew car park.

All Together Now is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen belongings.

No pets are allowed on the festival site.

VOLUNTEER BOND

Volunteers are required to pay a Volunteer Bond to the value of €235, the same price as a General Camping ticket. The Volunteer Bond represents your promise to turn up for your shifts, give your time to the festival and remain compliant with these Terms and Conditions. It will be refunded to you after the festival if your promise was fulfilled.

Details of how you can pay your Volunteer Bond will be emailed to you when your application has been approved. You will only be accepted as a volunteer after your Volunteer Bond has been paid.

The final closing date for receipt of payment will also be indicated in the email. Please note, Shift Schedules will be issued to volunteers in the order that the Volunteer Bonds are paid, so the sooner yours is paid, the more likely any issues with your schedule can be worked out. If your payment has not been received by the final closing date, it will be assumed that you no longer wish to volunteer.

VOLUNTEER BOND REFUND

Volunteer Bond Refunds are processed approximately three weeks after the festival.

In most cases your Volunteer Bond Refund will be issued back to your account / card automatically. In some cases we may need more information from you. Please take the utmost care when filling out any account / card details for your Volunteer Bond Refunds as, if any mistakes are made, you will experience delays until any lost payments are retrieved, and correct details are received from you.

Part, or all, of your Volunteer Bond Refund may be withheld if you:

  • do not turn up for or complete any of the shifts allocated to you.

  • lose any uniform and / or equipment allocated to you.

  • miss your onsite briefings without prior agreement.

  • breach these Terms and Conditions.

  • breach the Code of Conduct.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If after you have paid your Volunteer Bond you need to pull out due to illness, an accident or suffer a bereavement, you MUST let us know as soon as possible by contacting the Volunteer Management Team at volunteers@pod.ie clearly explaining your cancellation. A refund of the Volunteer Bond (minus a €20.00 administration fee) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

VOLUNTEER HUB

The Volunteer Hub serves as a base for Volunteers. This is where you can...

  • find the Volunteer Management Team.

  • get festival information.

  • attend briefings.

  • sign in at the start of your shift.

  • return to so you can be repositioned when you are no longer needed at your current post.

  • sign out at the end of your shift.

  • collect and return any HiVis clothing.

  • have a cuppa and a chat.

  • charge your tech (leave things unattended at your own risk!).

SHIFT SCHEDULES AND HOURS OF WORK

Volunteers must be available to arrive at the festival site on Thursday (the day before the festival starts) and be available for a briefing at 21:00hrs.

Shift Schedules are complete sets of shifts. It is not possible to change part of a Shift Schedule. If you have any issues with your assigned Shift Schedule, we can provide another Shift Schedule for you, but all shifts within it will change. You must contact the Volunteer Management Team at volunteers@pod.ie as soon as possible if you realise there are issues with your assigned Shift Schedule.

Volunteers are expected to donate 24 hours of their time for pre-event Shift Schedules and 18 hours for live-event Shift Schedules. In exchange, you will have full access to the festival during your off-shift hours.

Individual shifts are 6, 8, 10 or 12 hours long. The time it takes you to sign-in and travel to and from your position is additional to your shift.

You risk forfeiting your Volunteer Bond Refund if you do not attend the Volunteer Hub at the start and end of your shifts to sign in and out.

WRISTBANDS AND HIVIS

Volunteers will be wristbanded on entry to the festival site. You will be able to come and go from the site as long as this wristband remains on your wrist. Do not remove it until your shifts are completed and you no longer wish to be on site.

A numbered HiVis vest will be issued to you at the Volunteer Hub when you sign in for your first shift. You must wear it at all times when on-shift, and return it to the Volunteer Hub when you sign out at the end of your final shift.

Wristbands and HiVis vests are the responsibility of each volunteer. Lost wristbands / HiVis will incur a charge of €10, which will be withheld from your Volunteer Bond Refund.
